Prime Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob issued a message announcing that the government has decided to let people go to tourist attractions, islands and tourist areas across the state, but only if the vaccination rate of the Malaysian adult population reaches 90%.
As of 11:59 pm on September 21st, the vaccination rate of the adult population was 80.2%, and 93.2% of the adult population had been vaccinated with at least one dose. This means that our country is expected to open up across states next month.
In addition, the Prime Minister also announced that massage centres, hot springs, zoos and aquariums can also resume operations from October 1st.
