On TikTok, a Malaysian citizen stated that the hawker actually urged him to provide an additional RM3 when he went to the fasting market to pack cold drinks and asked for less ice. This confused the user at the time.
The other person said, “you still have to give RM3!” even after the netizen stressed that he only wanted less ice, not ice. He may currently believe that it is a fasting phenomenon, but out of desperation, he nonetheless paid RM8 for a pack of cold drinks. The packed drink is the size of a palm and costs RM5 cold drink plus RM3 (less ice).
