WhatsApp has launched 5 new features recently, which has caused heated discussions among netizens! However, it is reported that most of the new features launched this time have been tested as early as the Beta version and are only now added to the official version.

1. No longer limited to one login device

WhatsApp announced last month that users could use the same account on multiple phones, but this feature is only available for the Android version, so iOS users cannot link WhatsApp to a second device. However, in the latest feature, iOS users only need to use the iPhone to click the “Link this device” option to sync and use it on the second device.

2&3.  Long press to save important information & automatically play GIF animation

If you use the “Disappearing Messages” chat method in WhatsApp, the following new feature allows you to press and hold the message and “Keep” and then check it later, so you don’t have to be afraid of the message disappearing before you read it has gone! It is worth mentioning that the updated WhatsApp does not need to click to download the GIF animation will play automatically!

4&5. WhatsApp link can be added to Calendar device for iOS & new text overlay

According to the latest feature, call links on WhatsApp can be tapped and saved to Calendar-enabled devices for iOS. Moreover, you only need to press and hold the link to select the “Add to Calendar” function, which is super convenient! In addition, Status on WhatsApp is no longer limited to only one text layer; you can overlay it freely, and the font and background colour will be updated and increased!

Now WhatsApp has added this series of new features, and it is becoming more and more convenient to use!
