Many EPF members are asking why they have not received the withdrawals they have applied for yet, Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul has posted a video on Facebook to explain their queries.

According to the video posted by Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul on Facebook, the Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP) will try to finish processing all withdrawal applications before Eid al-Fitr so that members can receive their applications before Eid al-Fitr.

Tengku Zafrul pointed out that the KWSP received 5.3 million withdrawal requests involving more than RM401 billion, so the KWSP needs time to process members’ applications and time to make remittances.

Tengku Zafrul said that the Board has already indicated that it will process members’ withdrawal applications in phases, so members are urged to be patient. The CPF Board will do its best to ensure that members receive their withdrawals before Eid al-Fitr. This year, Eid al-Fitr is expected to fall on May 3 and 4.

Many of you are complaining that the status of your CPF withdrawal application is still purple PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DITERIMA, which means that the application has been successfully submitted and is still under review. The withdrawal status of the member will change to PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DILULUSKAN with lime green background in the near future, which means the application has been approved.

Once the application status is PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DILULUSKAN, the system will also show the date when the member can receive the payment.
