Weather Department issues weather advisory for several states with heavy rainfall until March 1

Many states in Malaysia have received a yellow level warning, including Seremban, Pahang, Sarawak, Johor, and Negeri Sembilan, where rain is anticipated to continue until Wednesday (1st of March).

The meteorological bureau has issued a yellow level warning (waspada) for continuous heavy rain in certain places, with broad indications that heavy rain or thunderstorms will linger for more than six hours.

Perak, Terengganu, Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, and Johor are among the states engaged.

Furthermore, heavy rain weather warnings remain in effect for the East Coast, Kuching, Serian, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, and Bintulu in Sarawak, and Sandakan and Kudat in Sabah which will continue to rain until today.
