We shall reach the transitory stage of endemic on April 1st. Let’s have a look at the new SOP.

Our country has now officially entered the period of endemic. Let’s take a look at the new SOP.

Since April 1, our country has been in the endemic transition stage (Peralihan Endemik), and our borders have also been opened. The required quarantine can be waived when entering our country if the immunisation is finished and the PCR test is performed three days prior to departure.

From April 1, the government has removed store hours limits, allowing those with a 24-hour operating licence to operate 24 hours a day. The government has lifted the restriction on stores being open until 12 a.m.

In the workplace, the government also permits all employees to return to work, and the number of people who can work at the same time is no longer limited. People are able to go to houses of worship to pray in groups, and religious places no longer limit the flow of people. When visiting crowded public venues, people must still utilise MySejahtera to scan the QR code and register.

Citizens are permitted to travel interstate without regard to whether or not they have been vaccinated, and law enforcement officials are not required to check their vaccination status.

If seniors over the age of 60 and those over the age of 18 who have gotten the Sinovac vaccine have not had the booster dose, their MySejahtera will display that their immunisation is incomplete. These individuals can still eat out, shop, and pray in houses of worship.
