Telegram is one of the most popular instant messaging applications used by Malaysians. After using for some time, the app will accumulate a lot of junk files and take up a lot of storage space on your phone.
You can free up your phone storage by cleaning up these junk files regularly. This will not only reduce wasted storage space, but also prevent lagging of the phone and software.
Here’s how to clean up Telegram‘s junk file.
Step 1: Open Telegram APP and go to Settings.
Step 2: Click into Data and Storage.
Step 3: In Automatic media download section, you can turn off automatic media download.
Step 4: Click into Storage Usage and the system will show you the cache space currently occupied.
Step 5: You can click on Clear cache and free up space.
Step 6: You can also select how long you want to keep the file in the Keep Media section, you can select 3 days, 1 week, 1 month and forever. If you choose one week then files older than one week will be automatically deleted.
