Water supply to Hulu Selangor will be completely restored by Thursday.
By one in the morning on Thursday, all 188 localities in Hulu Selangor with a scheduled water interruption should have their water supply fully restored.
In a statement, Elina Baseri, Head of Corporate Communications for Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), said that this would be possible because the early today-started repair and maintenance work on critical assets at the Sg Rasa Water Treatment Plant is anticipated to be finished by 9pm tonight.
After the water supply system has stabilised, the water supply will be gradually restored. Depending on where they are and the water pressure there, the water disruption period and supply restoration will be different.
According to Elina, Air Selangor would send water tanker lorries to the impacted districts, giving priority to important buildings including hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres, and morgues.
According to her, treated water supplies for business clients can be purchased at the Air Selangor customer service counters in Petaling and Gombak. Customers can also use their own tanker lorries to pick up their water supply at two water filling stations in Batu Caves and Damai Utama, Puchong.
The Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are all examples of our official communication channels where customers can get information on the scheduled water supply disruptions from time to time. They can also call the Air Selangor Contact Center at 15300. The Help Center also accepts questions and complaints via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
