Users of Maybank can change the daily FPX transfer limit. If no modification is made after August 20, RM3,000 will be the default.

The daily FPX transfer cap can be changed by Maybank users. RM3,000 will be the default if there is no modification after August 20.

Users of Maybank, take note! The daily FPX transfer cap can be changed by Maybank customers up to a daily limit of RM50,000.

Users can modify the daily transfer cap for FPX through the Maybank2u web interface, per a statement from Maybank. For verification purposes while changing the FPX daily transfer limit, SMS TAC is necessary.

After August 20, 2022, the FPX daily transfer cap will automatically default to RM3,000 if the user doesn’t change it. This is an initiative by Maybank to increase the safety of internet banking.

Notice! The maximum transfer limit per transaction for Maybank FPX remains at RM30,000, while the daily transfer cap has been raised to RM50,000. Users can send RM50,000 in two separate transfers of RM30,000 and RM20,000, for a total of RM50,000. The Maybank FPX daily transfer cap will be reset the following day, however you can still use FPX to send up to RM50,000 that day.

Financial Process Exchange, or FPX for short, is a safe and practical real-time online payment solution that is powered by PayNet, a fully owned subsidiary of Bank Negara. When using third-party payment services or shopping sites, everyone must use FPX.

How to change the FPX transfer limit

Step 1: Log in to the Maybank2u web version.

Step 2: Click on Settings in the upper right corner.

Step 3: Select Pay & Transfer.

Step 4: Select FPX, and change the transfer limit.

Step 5: Verify using SMS TAC.

Step 6: Done.
