According to a message sent by Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Touch ‘n Go eWallet will not send mobile phone messages (SMS) with links in them, and users are urged not to click on any SMS claiming to be from Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

If you receive an SMS claiming to be from Touch ‘n Go eWallet with a link, you can choose to ignore the SMS.

If you are confused about an SMS you have received, you can also verify it via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet Facebook page. You can send a private message to the Touch ‘n Go eWallet Facebook page with the relevant content.

Internet scams have become increasingly prevalent in Malaysia recently and many users have fallen victim to them. It is advisable not to click on any links in emails and SMS to prevent theft of personal data and deposits.
