Hong Leong Bank has partnered with the Shell petrol station chain to offer a cashback offer. If you spend RM50 or more at Shell petrol stations and use Hong Leong Debit Card to settle your bill, you will receive RM5 cashback.
The offer is available at Shell stations across Malaysia from 1 October to 25 November 2021 and each customer will receive one cashback per week, which means 8 cashbacks throughout the promotion period. Each time you receive RM5, you will receive a total of RM40 for 8 times.
The number of cash rebates per week is limited, i.e. only RM62,500, on a first-come, first-served basis. If you spend between 5 and 11 November, you will receive your cashback on 2 December. If you spend between 12 and 18 November, you will receive your cash back on 9 December. If you make a purchase between 19 November and 25 November, you will receive your cash back on 16 December.
Cardholders can swipe their cards at Shell pumps or through the counter at petrol stations. Swiping your card when shopping at select Shell shops also qualifies. However, the cashback offer is not applicable to other shops within the Shell petrol station premises (McDonald’s, Starbucks, etc.).
Spend RM50 or more and receive RM5 cashback, equivalent to 10% cashback, which is also worthwhile when using a debit card.
