Immigration sets up MyOnline Passport Kiosk for passport renewal in UTC Selangor!
According to a message from Selangor Immigration, people can go to the Immigration branch at the Selangor Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) to renew their passports. The Immigration Department has set up a self-service passport renewal facility, MyOnline Passport Kiosk, at the Selangor UTC.
Renewing passports through MyOnline Passport Kiosk will be faster and more convenient, especially during peak periods. People can fill in the information for renewing their passports by themselves, and then have their fingerprints identified and passport photos taken, etc.
It is known that Selangor Immigration receives 2,900 passport renewal applications per day and 60,000 passport renewal applications per month, making Selangor the state with the highest number of passport renewal applications in the country.
People who can use MyOnline Passport Kiosk to renew their passports include people aged 13 or above, except for the elderly, the physically challenged, those who have lost or damaged their international passports, and students aged 21 or below who are going to study abroad.
