The URUS program will open applications on November 15.

The government and banks cooperate to launch a financial management and flexibility plan (Program Pengurusan dan Ketahanan Kewangan) or URUS for short. Through this plan, beneficiaries can get a three-month loan interest exemption, which starts from the first month after joining the plan. Applicants can also get reduced installment payments for up to 24 months, as well as lower loan interest rates.

Eligible persons can apply through their respective banks from November 15, 2021 to January 31, 2022. Applicants must be beneficiaries of the Living Assistance Fund (BSH) or People’s Care Assistance Fund (BPR), and other applicants need to provide proof of family income.

Not only that, the applicant must be an unemployed person whose income has decreased by at least 50%. At the time of application, the loan must not be in arrears for more than 90 days. The applicant must also be a borrower who has now received loan assistance.
