It’s been four years since the third-generation Perodua Myvi was launched in 2017, and now it’s time for a minor upgrade. According to unofficial news, Perodua Myvi may launch a minor upgrade version next month!
There are rumors that the Perodua Myvi will change from a four-speed automatic transmission (4AT) to a CVT transmission. The Myvi may use the CVT transmission that Ativa now has.
Myvi will probably keep the 1.3L and 1.5L engines and will be available in four trim levels, the 1.3G, 1.3X, 1.5H and 1.5AV. And may no longer be offered with a manual transmission, as the manual version of the Myvi did not sell very well.
Blind Spot Monitoring System (BSM), Rear Crossing Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Auto Follow (ACC) are all likely to be available on the new Myvi, and the price of the new Myvi may increase.
Of course, the above information is just predictions, and Perodua has not yet released anything official. We’ll just have to wait for next month’s launch.
