Universal Studios Japan has just announced that it will officially open a new campus on February 4, 2021. The new campus “Super Nintendo World ™” originally planned to open this year has been delayed due to the impact of the epidemic. Today, the new campus seems to be nearing completion, and some of them have been exposed by fans. As you know, Universal Studios Japan announced its new campus in 2016, and after 4 years, it’s finally completed, fans should be very excited!
The focus of the new park is “Mario Kart” which is open to play. It uses the most advanced technology to transform the Nintendo game world into reality. And if you enter the park, visitors can also use the “Power Up Band” to collect Mario coins in the park using the mobile app!
The aerial view of the “Super Nintendo World ™” park was exposed, as if it really resembled the Mario World model, so unreal, it felt like living in an imaginary world.
As can be seen from the photos, visitors will see Toad’s mushroom buildings and various gift shops and restaurants after entering the Pink Castle. Then walk inward and you will see a game with the theme of “Yoshi”, which seems to be a tour bus type ride.
At the end of the park is the huge Kuba Castle, and next to it should be the “Mario Kart” ride in the promotional video, a full indoor roller coaster of “Mario Motors”.
In the future, there will be new entertainment facilities at Universal Studios Japan, and I look forward to flying to Japan after the epidemic!
