According to unifi’s Twitter post, unifi is performing nationwide infrastructure upgrades and maintenance in phases, and may experience network disruptions in affected areas. unifi’s upgrades and maintenance are intended to provide customers with a faster and more stable fiber network.
SMS notifications will be sent to customers in the affected areas. unifi will send SMS notifications to customers via the number 6555, which will clearly indicate the expected date and time for the network to return to normal.
unifi also promises its customers that the network outage will be resolved and back to normal within 24 hours. This is the same as unifi’s previous promise of a RM50 bill rebate if unifi is unable to resolve the network connectivity issue within 24 hours.
Currently unifi is expanding its fiber coverage nationwide and some areas that did not support fiber before are now supporting fiber unifi.
