Pakatan Harapan is set to become the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
In its election manifesto, Pakatan Harapan has pledged to limit the terms of office of the Prime Minister, State Ministers and Chief Ministers to a maximum of 10 years once in power. The Hluttaw also pledged to appoint a parliamentary decree to ensure that the parliament and state assemblies can only be dissolved after the expiration of their terms.
It also pledged to appoint two deputy prime ministers, one of whom will be from East Malaysia. In its election manifesto, Hluttaw also pledged to review the highway concessions and reduce the highway tolls with the ultimate goal of abolishing the highway tolls.
It will make the UEC diploma a basic qualification for entry into government universities and higher education institutions, but only if the Malay language of the Malaysian education diploma is obtained with honors.
The PTPTN monthly repayment amount will also be adjusted according to the borrower’s salary.
