GOremit Service Expands to Over 50 Countries
According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, TNG Digital Sdn Bhd has announced that GOremit, which was launched in May last year, has been expanded to more than 50 countries from the original 10 countries to provide users with a more convenient way to send money overseas.
The service initially allowed remittances to only 10 countries, including 5 countries in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam): and other countries in the Asian region (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka). Now it is expanded to over 50 countries and regions, which will include Hong Kong, Japan, the United Kingdom, and several European countries, among others.
According to TNG Digital, GOremit will provide a fast, secure, and convenient way to send money overseas anytime and anywhere. In addition to this, GOremit will not only offer the ability to transfer money abroad but also to receive money from abroad, currently receiving transfers from Wise and Panda Remit.

Step 1: Open Touch ‘n Go eWallet to find the GOremit icon and click on it.
(If it doesn’t appear on the home page, click More > scroll down to find Financial Services > click GOremit.
Step 2: After completing the verification, you can choose the country and remittance method (bank or e-wallet), enter the amount of remittance (it will automatically convert the exchange rate for you!), fill in the account number and confirm it. Fill in the account number to make sure it’s correct and you’re good to go!
