According to the official website of UMW Toyota Motor, the prices of Toyota Vios, Yaris and Corolla have been increased from 1 April 2022 and the new prices will include sales tax (SST).
Government announced last year that the sales tax exemption would be extended until 30 June this year and it’s only April now that UMW Toyota has already announced the prices of the cars that include sales tax, which means that the quota for the new cars is already lined up for 30 June this year.
If you reserve your new car now, you’ll have to wait at least 3 months for delivery, as early as July, and you won’t be able to take advantage of the sales tax exemption.
Here are the new Toyota Vios, Yaris and Corolla prices for you.
Vios 1.5J: RM77,600 (price increase RM2,977)
Vios 1.5E: RM85,600 (price increase RM2,647)
Vios 1.5G: RM90,400 (price increase RM2,816)
Vios GR-S: RM98,100 (price increase RM2,816)
Yaris 1.5J: RM73,800 (price increase RM2,860)
Yaris 1.5E: RM83,300 (price increase RM2,920)
Yaris 1.5G: RM87,600 (price increase RM2,792)
Corolla 1.8E: RM130,888 (price increase RM2,000)
Corolla 1.8G: RM141,888 (price increase RM2,000)
