One Touch will not rule out the possibility of reducing the price of RFID tags!
According to a report in the Free Malaysia Today, the Malaysian Highway Authority will meet with North South Road and One Touch to discuss lowering the price of RFID tags. This is to appease the people who are angry because of the high price of RFID tags.
It is understood that a touch of RFID Tag introduced by the company’s poor quality, stick on the windshield or headlights, after a few car washes will likely be damaged. People were forced to pay RM35 again to replace the RFID Tag.
North and South Road toll booths from January 15 to support the RFID Tag way to pay the toll, but the system is unstable, some of the toll booths long queues, public discontent. Many car owners blasted the North and South Avenue RFID instead of causing traffic congestion, which simply can not achieve the purpose of fast clearance.
Former Prime Minister Najib also issued an article pointing out that the cost of RFID Tag is less than RM 1, and now it is sold to the public at a high price of RM 35. Najib called for a reduction in the price of RFID Tag.
Najib also said that the government should not only care about the interests of the big banks and add to the burden of life of the people. touch ‘n Go should focus on the core business in the e-wallet, rather than by selling RFID Tag to earn huge profits.
