Topics of dengue and monkeypox today in Dewan Rakyat

The prevention of monkeypox and steps to stop the rising number of dengue infections were two of the main topics of discussion in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday, November 29. During the Q&A session, Datuk Seri Dr. Shahidan Kasim (PN-Arau) is expected to question the Health Minister on taking drastic steps to reduce the number of dengue cases, as per the Order Paper available on the official website of Parliament. Sabri Azit (PN-Jerai) also inquired about ways to stop the monkeypox virus, which has been identified in Malaysia, from spreading similarly to the Covid-19 virus. In order to show gratitude for their efforts and contributions, Zahari Kecik (PN-Jeli) will urge the Home Affairs Minister to outline the proactive steps the ministry has taken to guarantee the welfare of police retirees around the nation at the same session.
Aside from that, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan) would inquire about the strategy for boosting bumiputera entrepreneurship and expanding the number of entrepreneurs from the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives. This Thursday, November 30, is the last day of the Third Meeting of the Second Term of the 15th Parliament, which got underway on October 9.
