Although the current online shopping is convenient and fast, there are also many risks, and there are also many incidents of “goods are not right”!

A mother and son in Thailand bought a tablet online for their 6-year-old son to take online lessons, but unexpectedly, when they came to the logistics site to collect and open the package to check, they found that it was a cutting board sent by the store!

Mother suddenly felt angry, and Alan (33 years old), an employee of the express delivery company who witnessed the incident, immediately took photos and recorded the incident and exposed it on social media, reminding customers to be more careful when shopping online.

Alan said that at about 5 pm on September 25th, the service station she was responsible for welcomed the mother and son. Both mother and son indicated that they would come to pick up the parcel, so they searched according to the mailing number. During this period, she noticed that the sender of the parcel was Jasmyn, and the delivery method was cash on delivery, but her mother transfer the payment before opening the parcel for inspection.

After the transaction, the mother and son opened the package in front of Alan, and the tablet worth 1789 baht (about RM220) was turned into a cutting board worth about 100 baht (about RM12), which made the mother very angry.

Fortunately, Alan checked the company’s system at the first time and immediately stopped the transaction procedure after confirming that the payment had not been transferring to the merchant, which ultimately caused no economic loss. But the behaviour of merchants is intolerable, and Alan reminds online shoppers to be more careful.

It’s outrageous that a tablet computer becomes a “cutting board”! Everyone should be careful when shopping online and choose some reputable stores to buy ~
