Recently, a netizen Neyra, posted on her Twitter account saying that she was selling the trash for cash! Neyra quoted: “You don’t have to keep your trash anymore, just cash it all in.” She suggested a mobile APP called【Trash4Cash】, which the staff will collect the recyclable garbage at your door step then cash in for you! Easy Peasy. Neyra also revealed that she used this recycling method twice and earned RM46.32!
2. This app allows you to send a door-to-door garbage collection request to the merchant, and then they will arrange a staff to come and collect at your house. (The door-to-door service is free!)
3. After the staff weighed your recyclable items, they will pay you the relative amount via online transfer.
Please take note: only recyclable item is available to cash in, such as newspapers, plastics, paper, glass bottles, soda cans, scrap iron, etc. The recycling price of each garbage is different. It is recommended that you sort out the garbage first, so that you can save time and facilitate staff weighing process!
Neyra also reminds the netizens: “It is best to separate black and white paper with color paper, because black and white paper’s recycling price is RM0.35 per kilogram, and color paper’s recycling price is RM0.15 per kilogram, a full difference of RM0.20 per kilogram”!
