4 ways to lower tolls starting on October 20

Exciting news! Starting at midnight on October 20, four toll roads will waive their fees.

The tolls on 6 toll roads will be decreased, according to a recent announcement by caretaker prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri. Of these, 4 highways will see a reduction starting on October 20 and 2 roads will see a reduction. Beginning in January 2023, tolls will be reduced.

The prices of AKLEH, GCE, LKSA, and SILK will decrease starting at 0:00:01 on October 20, 2022, and the prices of LEKAS and BESRAYA will decrease starting on January 1, 2023.

Four avenues had a decrease in tolls from 8% to 15%. The new toll for AKLEH is RM2.13, down from the former toll of RM2.50. GCE now costs RM1.75, down from RM1.90 previously. The price of LKSA Seri Muda has decreased from RM1.70 to RM1.56.

For LKSA Alam Impian, the price has dropped from RM0.90 to RM0.83. SILK is now only RM1.66 instead of the previous price of RM1.80. Taxis and buses are not subject to the aforementioned tolls; only regular cars are.
