To receive BKM in cash, recipients must visit BSN before Dec 31.

According to information on a BKM’s official website, cash aid recipients who do not have bank account information or fail to remit will be required to receive aid in cash at the National Savings Bank (BSN) on or before December 31, 2022 gold.

BKM is a government programme that will be implemented in 2022. Assistance is available to families with a monthly income of no more than RM5,000 and singles with a monthly income of no more than RM2,500.

Bank remittances are used to distribute BKM. Some people, however, do not have bank accounts, and the bank information provided is incorrect. Finally, the government is unable to smoothly deposit aid to beneficiaries. These people can receive cash assistance from BSN.

When you go to the BSN counter to collect aid, you must bring your MyKad with you. If the beneficiary is unable to come to the BSN in person to collect the aid, the beneficiary may send a representative to do so. However, the representative must bring the necessary supporting documents, and the representative must be the beneficiary’s designated representative (Wakil) when submitting the aid application.

When receiving the aid, the representative (Wakil) must bring four documents: the beneficiary’s MyKad (original or copy), the representative’s MyKad, documents proving the relationship between the representative and the beneficiary, and documents proving that the beneficiary is unable to go to the BSN to collect the aid in person.

Furthermore, in 2023, the BTR aid programme will replace the BKM aid programme. Bantuan Tunai Rakyat is the full name of the BTR aid fund. The first phase of BTR assistance will be distributed in January, with families receiving RM300 and singles receiving RM100.
