Touch ‘n Go eWallet will launch stock trading function!
It is understood that Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Bursa Malaysia and Affin Hwang Investment Bank signed a memorandum of cooperation to allow the public to conduct stock transactions through Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
This feature is expected to be officially launched in the first quarter of 2024, and Bursa Malaysia hopes to open 100,000 new stock trading accounts (CDS) within one year.
If the user does not have a stock trading account (CDS), he or she needs to open a stock trading account on the Affin Hwang platform before conducting stock trading on Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
This stock trading function is expected to be integrated into the GOinvest function. Currently, GOinvest is expected to provide a number of investment services, including ASNB investment. Users can not only invest in stocks, but also in ETFs.
