TNG eWallet Supports DuitNow Transfers, Receive Money Immediately in Your Bank Account !

01/04/2022

Good news! Touch ‘n Go eWallet introduces the ability to withdraw money to your bank account via DuitNow and receive it immediately!

Previously, Touch ‘n Go eWallet had a withdrawal function that required waiting for about 1 business day to receive the money, but the newly launched DuitNow transfer function allows you to receive the money at the bank immediately, which is very convenient. This transfer method is the same as the DuitNow transfer from the bank, and both receive the money immediately.

To use Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s DuitNow withdrawal or transfer function, you can open the Touch ‘n Go eWallet APP and then click the Transfer button. Then click on DuitNow and choose how to enter the other party’s account information.

You can select Bank/E-Wallet Account to enter your bank account number, or you can select your cell phone number, ID number, passport number, business registration number, etc. After entering all the information, you can transfer the money.

It is worth noting in particular that Touch ‘n Go eWallet has started to classify users’ deposits as Transferable and Non-Transferable, and money topped up from credit cards will be classified as non-transferable. However, users will have a specific limit of transfers from credit cards each month.

The money that is considered Non-Transferable can be used for offline store purchases, parking fees, online payments, cell phone prepayments, movie tickets, transportation fees, etc. This money cannot be used for transfers to GO+ accounts, other users, withdrawals to bank accounts, or transfers to other e-wallets.

According to the official website of Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Pro level users can also enjoy a monthly transferable limit of RM2,000 when they use their credit cards to top up. As for Premium level users with a wallet limit of RM5,000, they can also enjoy a transferable limit of RM2,000 when topping up with a credit card.

Premium level users with a wallet limit of RM20,000 are entitled to a transferable limit of up to RM5,000 per month when recharging by credit card. This means that if the user reloads RM8,000 with a credit card, RM5,000 of that amount will be transferable and the remaining RM3,000 will be considered as non-transferable.
