TM no longer provides new subscriptions to Streamyx or unifi Lite after 21 years.
TM has ended Streamyx’s new subscription after 21 years!
Around 2001, Telekom Malaysia (TM) released the Streamyx home network, with speeds ranging from 384kbps to 2Mbps. When you consider the internet speeds at the time, you will be astounded.
TM is no longer offering new subscription services for Streamyx or unifi Lite, according to the latest news. Since 2019, TM has phased down Streamyx and rebranded it unifi Lite. New user subscriptions will no longer be available in unifi Lite!
This implies that Streamyx and unifi Lite plans are not available to either residential or business users. Fibre and air are the only two options available to users. Only Fibre and Air packages are available on TM’s official website; Streamyx and unifi Lite bundles are vanished.
TM no longer offers Streamyx or unifi Lite to new users, but existing users can continue to use them as usual. New users can now pick between unifi Fibre, unifi Air, or unifi Mobile.
Unifi Fibre will be available in areas where fibre is already available, while unifi Air and unifi Mobile will be available in areas where fibre is not yet available. unifi Air, often known as unifi Mobile, is a wireless network service provider.
