Things You’ll Need for the Ideal Picnic
Picnics are fun because you can take your party on the road and away from your home, but they may also be challenging. That you won’t be able to hurry into your house to fetch the corkscrew or cheese knife you’ll need to open that bottle of wine or cut that wedge of brie. However, if you’re well-prepared and have a checklist, your picnic will be a welcome change of pace from your dining room, restaurant, or garden. Here are some recommendations for what to bring on your next picnic.
Picnic checklist:
Basket – large enough to hold all of your belongings while also being easy to carry.
Rug(s) – large enough to accommodate everyone.
Plates, glasses, and cutlery – made of recyclable materials.
Cool bag – keeping beverages cold and food fresh. Pack some ice if you don’t have a cool bag.
Decorations – flowers, balloons, mirror, etc.
Trash bag(s) – keep your picnic place in the same condition as you found it.
Kitchen towels and wet wipes – clean up sticky fingers and faces
