Do you have any outstanding traffic fines from the police? Tickets for traffic violations are now 50% off.
The PDRM is offering a 50% discount on traffic fines from January 10 to 12, 2023, according to a post on the PDRM’s Facebook page. To pay outstanding fines, people must go to the traffic police counter in Kuala Lumpur between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Tickets involving car accidents, court cases, No Compound tickets (NC), illegally modified exhaust pipes, tickets involving lorry, running a traffic light, unlicensed driving, and speeding tickets are the nine types of tickets for which the 50% discount on traffic tickets does not apply.
This traffic ticket discount cannot be paid online and must be paid in person at the traffic police counter in Kuala Lumpur.

G. Ticket for double-lane overtaking
H. Tickets for Emergency Lane Misuse
I. Tickets for running a red light
