Our country will experience first-class heat!

First-level hot weather was present in one region of the nation—Alor Gajah in Malacca—as of 4:40 pm on July 19, 2022, according to information made public by the Malaysian Meteorological Department.

When the hottest temperature for three consecutive days is between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius, a region is categorized as experiencing Category 1 intense heat.

A region is considered to be experiencing a heat wave if the three consecutive days with the maximum temperature are between 37 and 40 degrees Celsius. A third stage, or super heat wave, is triggered when the hottest temperature in a given area hits 40 degrees Celsius for three days.

During this period, it is advised that people consume more water and limit their outside activity. A heat stroke occurs when you experience symptoms including fainting, scorching skin, excessive sweating, a pale complexion, and a dip in blood pressure. Stop working immediately, find a cold spot to rest, and consume lots of water.
