If a public holiday falls on a Friday or Monday, plus two-day weekends off, this will result in 3 consecutive days off. If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, then there will be a day off on Monday, which will also result in 3 consecutive days off.
In 2022, there will be 8 consecutive holidays, with Labour Day, Wesak, Hazrat, Mohammed’s Birthday and Christmas all falling on a Sunday, so an extra day will be given on Monday.
