According to the 2022 public holiday schedule released by the Cabinet, there will be three public holidays in March. 1 March is Mohammed’s Migration Day, which will be observed in Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis and Terengganu.
March 4 will be the enthronement day of the Sultan of Terengganu, Terengganu will have a day off on this day, and March 23 will be the birthday of the Sultan of Johor, Johor will also have a day off on this day.
If you are unable to enjoy these holidays, the next national public holiday is Labor Day on May 1. This year, Labor Day falls on a Sunday, so there will be a compensatory day off on Monday, May 2. Together with the Eid holidays on May 3 and 4, this makes a total of four consecutive holidays.
