Are you being exploited or treated unfairly by your boss? The government has launched the WFW APP, which allows you to report anonymously!
The Working For Workers APP, or WFW APP, was launched by the Human Resources Department. Employees can anonymously report unfair treatment by their employers to the Human Resources Department via this mobile app. The Labour Office will address any complaints.
Employees just sign up for the WFW app with their mobile phone number, select the option of unfair treatment, and make a complaint. Within 3 to 7 days, the Labor Office will take action against employers. The WFW APP also allows employees to check the status of a complaint case directly from the app.
Unfair treatment will encompass employer-employee disputes, unpaid wages, and coerced work, among other things. The complaint can also include photos or documents. After filing a complaint, employees will receive a mobile text message (SMS) notice with a case number to help them track the case’s progress.
Employees won’t have to worry about their identities being revealed, which may jeopardise their careers, and the entire complaint procedure will be kept private.
