According to Touch ‘n Go eWallet, the e-wallet will follow the guidelines issued by Bank Negara to protect users’ rights and deposits. This will be Malaysia’s first e-wallet platform to implement similar security measures.
In the first quarter of 2023, Touch ‘n Go eWallet will implement five measures, including replacing SMS OTP with a more secure verification method, tightening detection measures for suspicious transactions, and implementing a cooling-off period when logging in to an account with a new device.
