KL SMART Tunnel will be closed for flood preparation operations.
Since this evening, the SMART Tunnel has been completely closed to users in preparation for flood operations due to heavy rain.
Syarikat Mengurus Air Banjir dan Terowong Sdn Bhd (SMART) stated on Twitter that the closure was implemented at 7.13pm yesterday after receiving instructions from the Department of Irrigation and Drainage.
Mode 3 has been enabled. The SMART Traffic Control Centre closes the tunnel to traffic in this mode, and floodwaters are still diverted.
