It is believed that the price of kale per kilogramme has risen from RM6 to RM12, that of pakchoi has risen from RM5 to RM6 per kilogramme to RM12 per kilogramme, and that of romaine has risen from RM6 to RM7 per kilogramme to RM12 to RM13 per kilogramme. The price of lettuce has also been raised from RM10 per kilogramme to RM20 per kilogramme, celery and shallots from RM10 to RM12 per kilogramme to RM22 per kilogramme, Chinese spinach. from RM3 to RM3.50 per kilogramme to RM7 per kilogramme, and Water spinach from RM2.50 to RM2.50 per kilogramme RM3.00 has been raised to RM6 or RM7.
Eggplant has increased by up to 80%, and Garland Chrysanthemum has increased by 50%, from RM6 to RM9 per kilogramme.
