The Proton X70 was launched with a minor facelift on June 9 and has already received more than 9,000 orders in less than a month!
According to the news sent out by Proton, the Proton X70 has sold a total of 73,000 units since its launch on December 12, 2018, or an average of 1,738 units per month. It has already received 9,000 new orders in less than a month.
The Proton X70 was previously imported from China as a complete package (CBU) and will be locally assembled (CKD) in 2020. a minor facelift will be launched in June 2022 with a 1.5 TGDI engine and the top trim level will remain at 1.8 TGDI engine.
The latest prices for the Proton X70 in July are RM98,800 for the 1.5 TGDI Standard 2WD, RM110,800 for the 1.5 TGDI Executive 2WD, RM116,800 for the 1.5 TGDI Executive AWD, RM123,800 for the 1.5 TGDI Premium 2WD and RM123,800 for the 1.8 TGDI Premium 2WD. and 1.8 TGDI Premium 2WD RM128,800.
In addition, Proton delivered 4,473 Proton X50s to owners in June and only 2,779 Proton X50s in May, having reached the 100,000-unit sales milestone in March.
