The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin reported on the latest situation of the domestic epidemic through a live broadcast at 6 o’clock this evening.

The Prime Minister said that at this stage the government will not implement the National Movement Control Order (MCO) or blockade the country, which would seriously damage the country’s economy.

The government will implement strengthened control orders in the red zone so that other areas not affected by the epidemic can continue their daily lives. The Government is now more experienced than it was at the beginning of the epidemic and has sufficient personnel to fight the epidemic.

The Prime Minister also urged people to stay home. He also emphasized that there is no double standard in the home isolation policy, and he himself complies with the government’s SOP. At the same time, there are currently 7 ministers and 6 deputy ministers in residential quarantine.
