The price of Massimo Bread will be increased from January 1st!
According to a report by Free Malaysia Today (FMT), Massimo bread under The Italian Baker has adjusted its price from January 1, 2022. This is the second bread brand announced to increase the price of bread after Gardenia bread increased its price on December 1st last year.
400 grams of white bread increased from RM2.38 to RM2.80, 600 grams of white bread increased from RM3.35 to RM4.00. 400 grams of wheat germ bread increased from RM2.48 to RM3.00, 600 can wheat germ bread rose from RM3.71 to RM4.25.
As for 400 grams of fine whole wheat bread, it was also increased from RM2.73 to RM3.30, and 420 grams of whole wheat bread was also increased from RM3.40 to RM4.10. 55 grams of sandwich bread was also increased from RM0.84 to RM1.00.
In the report, the Ministry of Trade and Consumer Affairs stated that it will investigate the price increase of Massimo bread.
