The number of evacuees from the Kelantan floods is remained at 1,437.
The number of flood evacuees in Kelantan continues to decline, with only 1,437 individuals from 414 families remaining at five relief centres (PPS) as of 8 a.m. today, down from 1,879 people from 544 families the night before.
According to the InfoBencana webpage of the Social Welfare Department (JKM), the evacuees include 485 men, 495 women, 208 boys and 238 children, as well as 11 infants.
In the Pasir Mas district, there are four PPS and one in Tumpat.
The Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) declared on its website that all of the state’s major rivers are at normal levels.
Meanwhile, power has still to be restored in three districts of the state, according to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
Pulau Dolah in Tumpat, as well as the DID offices in Pengkalan Rakit and Bakat 2, both in Pasir Mas, where power was cut off owing to flooding.
