The New Year’s Day holiday is over, when is the next public holiday?

The New Year’s Day holiday on January 1 falls on a Saturday, which, together with the weekly vacation on Sunday, makes a total of 2 consecutive days. After the New Year’s Day holiday, the next national public holiday falls on February 1, which is the Chinese Lunar New Year.

However, before Lunar New Year on February 1, there are two more state-specific holidays, namely the birth anniversary of the ruler of Negeri Sembilan on January 14, and the Dabbosun Festival on January 18, which is a Hindutva holiday that is observed in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Penang and Selangor.

It’s a new year and it’s time for everyone to set new goals for themselves and start working towards those goals. Go for it.
