The myPTPTN APP has been officially launched, allowing users to examine information on PTPTN arrears and SSPN deposits.
There’s good news! The myPTPTN APP is now available for download, and users can use it to check their PTPTN arrears or read the details of the SSPN they’ve placed.
The PTPTN has officially introduced the myPTPTN APP, a one-stop mobile application through which users can undertake different PTPTN and SSPN transactions.
If you are a Malaysian citizen over the age of 18, have a Malaysia ID Card, and a mobile phone number and email address, you can use the myPTPTN APP.
The myPTPTN APP primarily performs four functions: creating an SSPN account and deposit, repaying PTPTN student loan arrears, requesting wage deduction to pay the PTPTN student loan, and requesting direct debit from the bank to pay the arrears.
When creating a myPTPTN account, users must authenticate their identification by uploading a Malaysian ID card and taking a selfie. The user can successfully register for a myPTPTN account after completing the eKYC identification verification. Notice! The eKYC method can only be completed 5 times per user. If the eKYC fails on a regular basis, the user must go to a nearby PTPTN counter to be processed.
The myPTPTN APP can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store, Apple Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
If this is your first time hearing about SSPN, here’s a quick primer. The SSPN is a government-sponsored savings programme designed to encourage people to save. Depositors of the SSPN will be eligible for a variety of benefits, including interest, insurance coverage, personal income tax rebates, death benefits, medical care, and more.
Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus are the two programmes offered by SSPN.
Simpan SSPN Prime is a savings account that allows depositors to freely deposit and withdraw funds. Simpan SSPN Prime has the advantage of allowing consumers to deposit according to their financial means. You can choose not to deposit for the time being if money is limited this month. You have the option of making a deposit next month when you have more money.
A monthly deposit is required for Simpan SSPN Plus, which is an insurance-inclusive plan, and a portion of the deposit will be utilised as the insurance payment.
SSPN can be browsed by friends who are interested in creating an account.
