The Ministry of Health has announced that two groups of people must receive their booster shots by February 2022, otherwise they will be classified as incomplete and the vaccination status of MySejahtera will change back to white.
The Ministry of Health announced in a letter dated December 16 that people of 60 years of age and those over 18 years of age who received the Coxin vaccine will need to receive a booster shot by February 2022. Anyone who has not received a booster after February 2022 will be considered incomplete.
Attention! Affected groups are people over the age of 60 who have received any brand of vaccine, and people over the age of 18 who have received the Coxin vaccine.
Many people may wonder why the government only requires the booster vaccine to be given to Coxin vaccine recipients by February. This is because Coxin vaccine recipients are required to receive the booster 3 months after the second dose of the vaccine, and many of them have already received the booster 3 months ago.
As for the Pfizer and AZ vaccine recipients, they need to receive their booster doses after 6 months, so most of the people who have received the Pfizer and AZ vaccines at the age of 18 or older have not yet received their booster doses for 6 months.
Here is how to register for the booster vaccine, so that if there are any booster vaccines left at the relevant medical institution, the medical institution will give priority to those who have already registered.
