The Ministry of Health may rule out that people will be forced to receive booster vaccines, and only for those who have completed three doses of vaccines are considered completed the vaccination.

According to the news by Minister of Health of Malaysia, Khairy Jamaluddin, from “New Straits Times”, he said that the Ministry of Health is discussing increasing the coverage of booster vaccines, and listing booster vaccines as a condition for those who have completed vaccination is one of the options.

At present, the Ministry of Health is still using encouragement, persuasion, and pleading to increase the booster vaccine. If there are still many people who are unwilling to receive booster vaccines, then the Ministry of Health will regard the booster vaccines as compulsory. Vaccination will be considered as completed when three doses of vaccine are completed.

According to data issued by the Ministry of Health a few days ago, about 40% of the people chose to be absent after receiving an appointment for booster vaccines. If this trend continues, the hospitalization rate and the number of patients will not rule out a further increase.

European countries have already begun a new wave of the pandemic, and our country should use this as a lesson, and make all-out preparations before a new wave of pandemic erupts, including inoculation of booster vaccines.
