The Ministry of Health has issued a national policy on testing and when self-testing is required

27/11/2021

The Department of Health has released the National COVID-19 Testing Strategy.

The National Testing Policy clearly states that a person needs to self-test after having a fever/chill, fatigue, difficulty breathing, body aches, headache, runny nose, sore throat, cough, vomiting and diarrhea, loss of sense of smell, and being a close contact.

Active testing is also required when a person chooses to cross state lines, visit people of fun age, attend large prayer events, large seminars, exercise, attend weddings, recreational activities and participate in other family gatherings.

After self-testing, people need to go to MySejahtera to report their test results, which is to go to Ujian Kendiri COVID-19 and select Kemas Kini Keputusan Ujian Kendiri, then enter the required information such as phone number, name, email, address and the test kit used, select Test results, then submit.
