Attention parents with children born in 2016 and 2017! The Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) is open from March 1 to April 30, 2022 for parents to register their children in Year 1 next year.

If the child in the family was born from January 2, 2016 to January 1, 2018, parents should remember to go to the nearby primary school from March 1 to go through the registration procedures for the child to enter Year 1 of primary school in 2023 or 2024.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, all children born between January 2, 2016 and January 1, 2017 will enter Year 1 of primary school in 2023. Children born between January 2, 2017 and January 1, 2018 will enter Year 1 of primary school in 2024.

Parents can enroll their children in Year 1 through the online system at  https://public.moe.gov.my/  . Parents need to sign up for an account before enrolling their child in first grade. Notice! The online system will not open until March 1, 2022, and the application results will be announced in July.

Due to the current epidemic, all primary schools in our country will restrict those who enter the campus, so parents are advised not to go to the school to enroll their children in the first grade. Parents can enroll their children in the first grade through the online system.
