The class and holiday schedule for 2023/2024 haven’t been announced yet.
According to previous years, the Ministry of Education will announce the class and holiday schedule for the next year in September, while it announced the class and holiday schedule for the following year in mid-November last year. However, this year’s political unrest, as well as the November national election, have made it difficult to begin school and holiday schedules for the new school year.
According to the MoE’s previous announcement of class and holiday schedule for 2022/2023, the year-end holiday will begin on December 10 and will last until December 31.
The students will begin their third term on January 3, 2023, and will end on February 17, 2023. The school will then begin its end-of-term break from February 18 to March 12, 2023.
Of course, the above dates are all for the 2022/2023 school year, and the Ministry of Education has yet to release the class and holiday schedule for the 2023/2024 school year. The academic year 2023/2024 is expected to begin in March 2023 and end in February 2024.
