The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs will implement the Jualan Keluarga Malaysia price-setting plan from December 7, and 12 kinds of vegetables and meat are subject to price-limiting restrictions

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) will implement a Jualan Keluarga Malaysia price plan from December 7 to 31, and vegetables, eggs and meat will be subject to the highest-price restrictions!

According to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), to stabilize the prices of necessities, KPDNHEP will implement the Skim Harga Maksimum Keluarga Malaysia (SHMKM) shortly.

Under the SHMKM, 12 kinds of necessities will not be able to sell above the highest price. The government will ensure that the price of necessities sold by merchants will not exceed the highest price, and the market is supplied adequately.

Necessities subject to price controls include live chicken, standard clean chicken (including offal and chicken feet), super clean chicken (excluding offal and chicken feet), A-grade eggs (65 to 69.9 grams), and B-grade eggs (60 to 64.9 G), C-grade eggs (55 to 59.9 g).

For vegetables, there are long beans, red peppers, tomatoes, choy sum, imported cabbage (Indonesia and China, excluding Beijing) and cucumbers.

The KPDNHEP will announce the top prices of regulated necessities shortly.

10. Choy Sum
