The Ministry of Communications will launch the “anti-hacker App”! Minister: will be launched in the form of fees!

14/08/2022

Phones, banks and other digital theft cases occur frequently, and there are even people on the Internet flirting with the idea that grandmothers are right, money should be received in the cookie jar to be safe! Not only that, there are also people who found no signal on their cell phones when they went to the toilet at 3am, thinking that the relevant telecommunications company was repairing it in the middle of the night, only to find out that the wrongdoers had topped up their e-wallets through their accounts as many as 11 times, and each time the amount was different, RM5000 just disappeared!

In response to this matter, the Minister of Communications and Multimedia Anuar Musa said that the Ministry of Communications will meet with overseas application developers to discuss, but also requested Cyber Security Malaysia (CSM) for this App to carry out special research, and in this App before the launch of all the checks, and then to the Malaysian public, used to curb the activities of hackers.

The Malaysian Minister of Communications and Multimedia said that the “anti-hacker app” will be able to be used on any state-registered electronic device, so it will be launched in the form of a fee, but will ensure that the price is reasonable.

I wonder if a fee-based “anti-hacker app” will cause a wave of people to use it or not? If the government launches such an app, how much do you think is reasonable? Leave a comment and let’s talk about it!
